Maria looked back simply stared for a moment, seriously thinking about it. Giving a sigh and stepping slightly to the side - as well as opening the door a bit more - she looked away again as she answered "Fine."

Francis tried not to grin as he slipped past Maria and into her house. "Merci, amour~"

"Just don't get too comfortable." Maria responded, closing the door behind her. She walked to the side closet and grabbed one of her uniform shirts, putting it on and buttoning it up as far as it normally goes to hide her 'pajama' shirt.

"Just because you 'promise' doesn't mean you need to see." Maria said. She closed the closet's door and into the room, plopping down into a large chair across from the couch.

"True, I guess." Francis waited to see if she will say more. Knowing that she was thinking about something but didnt know if she would say.

"I'm surprised you agree." Maria muttered under her breath. Bringing her volume back to normal, she spoke again. "So besides 'checking up' on me, vhy are you really here, Francis."

Maria just stared once again. Her arms were now crossed over her chest as she leaned back in the chair. "Maybe I do or I don't. I just know you've barely had anything to say yet that's been vorth mein time."

"It must not have hurt you that much if you can still keep the same tone of voice as before my comment." Maria said, sitting up straight then standing up onto her feet. She walked to the stairs and stopped with her foot on the first step. "I'm getting bored sitting in here. I'll allow just one valk vith you if you give me 10 minutes." She didn't even look in France's direction as she spoke to him. She still couldn't believe what she just implied, but before she could take it back, she was already on her way upstairs to get changed.

Francis was--surprised, speechless you could say. Even if he had something to say at her comment he couldn't he had no breath. So he stayed on the couch, same spot and everything, until she came back down the stairs.

Just as promised, Maria was downstairs again ten minutes later. She glanced over at the couch, France still sitting exactly where she left him. She didn't change into anything special. Just her usual attire.
"Are you just going to sit there like a rock?" She called over to him.
((shall we just go through with the walk on this thread or shall I create a thread in the meeting area to make easier?))
