"Tout va bien, it wasn't too bad, aîne frère wasn't with them this time so that helps a bit." Laramie avoided saying Francis' name just in case until he was sure Maria would not become upset with him. Aside from talking about girls, Gilbert and Antonio hadn't really said very much to him, though they still made him nervous.
Perhaps he should switch the conversation to something else... "The weather today is quite nice, eh?"

"Hm. I see." Maria murmured her answer quietly. She noticed how careful he was not to mention France's name. Though she didn't let it go undetected. Again, it's been a few times that she's over heard that he was missing. Something inside of her off, but she assumed that it was most likely nothing.
It took her a moment to realize that he had changed the subject and asked a question, but she was swift to reply despite it. "Ja. It's been... Relaxing. It's rare for me to find simple days like this." Really. It was. With how many times she's gotten visitors that exceeded the recommended she wanted for the week. But since she hadn't seen many of the other girls lately, she's finally been able to have some peace and quiet. Though she still had her brother to worry about. At least he had Spain to keep him distracted for a good amount of time.
Still resuming to the other topic in her head, why was it bothering her that France has been gone for so long? Maria's mind seemed to wonder at the though as she waited for Laramie's next reply.

Another reason Laramie wanted to change the subject was to take his mind off both Francis and Noelle being gone. He knew they were busy with other things but, he still missed them.
Glancing at Maria, he noticed she seemed to be thinking about something. "You should relax more, miss Maria. It's important not to let yourself got all stressed out and tired. Otherwise people will worry about you..." He finally said, slowly turning his head back again.
"Especially your brother, eh..."

Maria's toughts came to a quick stop at Laramie's conclusion to the response. Her brother worry? He was sometimes the reason to some of her stress in the first place. She sighed, resting her elbow on the arm of the chair and her chin on the back of her hand.
"Relaxation may sound easy enough to do but for others, like I said before, it's a very rare treat." Maria thought it over. When WAS the last time she was ever able to just be by herself for this long and even longer. She can't even remember... "hn... Though... I suppose vhen I have the chance, I should at least take it."

He had found a time in his schedule that he decided to come visit Berlin. He hadn't done so, of course, in quite a while, so he immediately took the fastest route possible that did not require going near anyone else, because he knew everyone around him would versauen his timing. He showed up rather quickly, too. "Berlin!" he called when he was barely visible. "Hallo Berlin!" he yelled as he ran to her.

Maria's ear twitched at the sound of another visitor comin towards her home. She glanced away from Laramie to see who it was, though hearing the deep but very loud voice, it was of no doubt that it belonged to her brother Germany. From the tone of his voice and how quickly he was arriving, she sensed something upbeat to it. Odd, normally he was exhausted from either bossing Japan and Italy around or just looking for them when they disappeared on him. Either way, it's been quite some time since she's seen Germany, so she wouldn't be quick to deny his visit.
"Ludwig." She greeted once he fully arrived. "It's goo't to see you. You've been keeping vell, ja, bruder?"

Startled by a loud voice, Laramie stood up quickly only for his glasses to fall off, landing on the porch with a small clatter. Kneeling down to pick them up, he paused briefly at hearing the name of the voice's owner.
"I could leave if you like, then you and your frère can catch up, Maria." He offered, holding his glasses carefully in his hand. He couldn't help noticing how happier she looked with Ludwig's arrival.

He smiled and opened his arms to hug his sister "I found a rare few minutes where I was free, and it's been a while, so I decided 'why not?'

Maria shook her head and reordered the seat back to Laramie as she stood up to greet her brother. "Nein. You are fine. Vhat do they say... 'the more the merrier'?" Of course, she never liked that phrase. She was happier with small groups like she has currently. But she didn't want to be rude and have him leave just because of a mini family reunion.
She was quite surprised with the hug from her older brother, a lot of kind things like this was rare from him to her, but she walked into it anyways and accepted a quick embrace. "Vell. It certainly is goo't to see you again, bruder. I hope Italy und Japan haven't been too much trouble for you."

"Oh, please, sister, different subject." he sighed. "I had to send them to get 'headlight fluid' just to get a free second."

Raised an eyebrow. "I see then. Vell. Goo't on you for making that vork." she looked around but remembered that there were only two seats out on the porch. She pondered for a moment before thinking of an idea. "Ve should take this inside, ja? I still have a large selection of bier und vine from Sicily." she gave Laramie a glance, extending the offer to him as well.

He thought for a second, wondering if he'd have enough time, but he remembered, Italy would look for something until the world ended if he couldn't find it. Especially for Germany. "Ja, dat sounds nice. I would love a bier. Und you said Sicily made them?"

Laramie looked over his glasses before putting them back on, he really needed to be more careful. He'd hate to break them again. "I guess...it wouldn't hurt." He wouldn't feel right just saying 'no', and he did come to visit so he could get to know the others better.
He wasn't sure what to say to Ludwig just yet so he waited.

"Vell. The vines are from Sicily, ja." Maria nodded to the her two guests and picked up her book, not wanting to leave it outside, and made her way to the front door, opening it for Laramie and her brother.
